Spring 2021 Spiritual Check-Ups
What is a spiritual Check-up?
Just like you need a doctors check-up each year, we want to offer you the chance to give your faith life a check-up.
Have you ever had a semester or year where life just seemed to get away from you? Before you knew it you had set up a schedule, made commitments, and then you realized you had forgotten to make faith a priority. Maybe you are stuck and don’t know how to get out of the spiritual rut you are in. Or possibly you want to take walking with Jesus seriously for the first time. These are all great reasons to schedule a time with one of our staff!!
We would like to help you make this the best semester ever in your walk with Jesus. We would like to schedule a 45 minute Google Meet with you and discuss where you are, where you want to go, and help you develop a plan to get there.
Because of the unique situation of the last year you may not know our staff very well, but we would like to use this as an opportunity to get to know you better!
Before you show up for your meeting be ready to share a brief story of how you came to follow Jesus (under 5 min) and be ready to answer the following questions:
We really look forward to talking with you!
Our Staff had made time in their schedule between Jan 14-22nd to meet with you. There should be many options, but if for some reason you can't find a time that works for you just email Kyle.

Ski Retreat
Sign up on our interest form.
In lieu of our traditional spring break trips, we are planning a great 3-day getaway over President's Day weekend (Feb13-16)!
The requests will be sent through the Chain of Command for approval next week, so signup NLT Monday, Jan 18th. We can always remove names, so if you have any inclination of joining us, simply signup (no registration/payment required yet). And invite your friends along for the fun!
Our basic retreat request through the COC will include:
* 3 nights away from the Academy at a beautiful conference center near the Potomac River (near Hagerstown, MD) - only 90 minutes away!
* Expected departure Friday afternoon (Feb 12th) & return Monday afternoon (Feb 15th). Backup dates are the first weekends of March.
* 3-4 large group conference sessions to help us consider our walks with Jesus
* At minimum 1 day (or more?) of skiing at Whitetail Resort. For those not interested in skiing, plenty of rec activities on-site or local mountain hikes are available!
MAX Anticipated Costs: (*may lower if big enough interest, or shorter weekend)
For 3-day retreat (ONLY) lodging, dining, meetings: $120
With Skiing Package for a lift ticket & equipment rental on slopes: Additional $130
Total for the weekend: $250
Please never let cost be the biggest factor, as we have alumni and friends who would love to help provide the opportunity with scholarships. Just email Dan to ask!
Warning: As with all plans at USNA during COVID, this is our best-anticipated plan/request. Dates may change, or activities like skiing may be denied. We are running approvals this week after gathering interest, so please SIGNUP if you have any interest in joining us for the retreat!
